Chickpea Burgers


Chickpea Burger


4 c drained chick peas
1 tbsp almond butter
2 eggs
1 sm onion chopped
1 tsp minced garlic
1/4 c quinoa (ground into flour)
1 tbsp salsa
1 tbsp soya sauce
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp sunflower seeds
1/4 c chopped/minced cilantro
1 tsp parsley flakes
1/2 tsp dill
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp sea salt
Dash cayenne
Freshly ground black pepper
Coconut oil for frying
Blend all together and drop by Tbsp’s onto pan. Flatten out while cooking. Flip in about 4 minutes. Fry on med/high heat. (Secret to them sticking together is getting pan hot first)
Serve with toppings such as salsa, tomato slices, fried mushroom or avocado slices….
