Grilled Asian Shrimp Kabobs!!

1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 small onion, chopped into large pieces
1 T. olive oil
1 T. fresh ginger, grated
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup oyster sauce (found in the oriental section of grocery store)
1 T. soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes
1 1/2 T. sugar
2 T. honey
In a small pot add oil and ginger and cook over med. high heat for 1 minute. Add in ketchup, oyster sauce, soy sauce, chili flakes, sugar and honey. Whisk to combine and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside. Soak skewers in water for 2 hours. Make kabobs by alternating with onion, pineapple and shrimp. Brush some of the marinade over the kabobs and put in the fridge for 1 hour. Prepare grill, place the kabobs on the hot grill and brush with more marinade. Cook 1-2 minutes and turn kabobs, brushing again with the marinade. Cook an additional 1-2 minutes. Enjoy!
